For Fall or Winter wedding, this Victorian-styled gown of Ivory satin is fashioned with a round neckline, empire waist, lace-topped bodice, long Camelot sleeves - trimmed with a border of white beaded alencon lace. The gown was custom-designed, worn once at the wedding then promptly professionally cleaned and vacuumed-sealed. It was only opened today to take pictures to post.
Size: Since gown was customed-designed, there is no size label; however, the bride was about a petite size 6-8 at the time. She was 5'1.5" tall. (The hem on the gown is 2 1/4".) The front empire seam measures 13 1/2" under the bustline. I know sizinghere can be difficult, so just let me know if I can help with a specific measurement.
Mantilla: Although lace mantilla headpiece is unique and may not appeal to you today, the empire styled gown is classic. The mantilla is gathered to a cap of matching lace and has a wide border of the beaded lace. It forms a long train on the floor behind the gown.
Train: A separate panel sewn with the skirt into the bodice seam. It extends to the floor only not behind the gown as the mantilla.
Condition: Gown requires gentle ironing only at fold seams where boxed. The gown is almost pristine, except there are two light tan marks at bottom of train panel - one on on bottom left corner, the other to the right of center a bottom.
